The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, July 19 reveals Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will put Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) on blast.
Also coming up Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will chicken out with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will encourage Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to go to Paris. And Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will get bad news.
Y&R spoilers tease Victoria will ask Claire what it is about Kyle’s invitation to Paris that makes her uncomfortable. “Summer?” Victoria will ask. “Is she the reason you’re reluctant to go?” Claire will admit Summer still sees her as a threat and she also wants to revisit custody with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

So, Victoria will inquire as to whether her daughter has romantic feelings for Kyle. She’ll wonder if that’s why Claire feels conflicted about going to Paris. But Claire will say she doesn’t really know, because she’s never had a romantic relationship.
But her mom will tell her that’s no reason to beg off the trip. Then she’ll tell her not to worry about Summer and she’ll encourage her to go. After Victoria leaves, Claire will call Kyle and tell him she’d love to go to Paris with him and Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell).
At Chancellor Park, Chelsea will remain guilt-ridden about sleeping with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). She’ll tell herself it didn’t mean anything and she’s committed to Billy, but then why can’t she stop thinking about it?
“Maybe I should just tell him, explain the circumstances,” Chelsea will think to herself. “In the hope that he can find it in his heart to forgive me.” Then Billy will come along and ask what’s wrong. “I’m sorry Billy, I can’t do this anymore,” she’ll reply.
So, he’ll ask if it’s something to do with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) but she’ll say no, it’s her. And she’ll get cold feet and won’t confess to Billy about sleeping with her ex. Which means Billy will still be stuck with this albatross around his neck, for at least a few more weeks.
Meanwhile, Summer will meet up with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), who will tell her Chancellor-Winters split and it’s going to be a disaster. He’ll say he’s been struggling and is considering leaving. But it’ll end up being yet another pointless conversation. In the end, he’ll say he’s not going to leave.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Summer Has No Rights As A Parent
Summer will keep checking her phone, waiting to hear from her lawyer. So, Chance will suggest they go to the park to get some fresh air. When they arrive, she’ll get a text from her lawyer, telling her Kyle can legally take Harrison to Paris. “I guess I have no rights, as a parent,” a teary-eyed Summer will say to her boyfriend.
At Society, Phyllis will ask Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) if he’s going to regret asking her out to lunch, when she sees Sharon walk in. Then Sharon will approach their table, say hello, and add she didn’t mean to disturb them. “Enjoy your meal,” she’ll say as she walks to the bar.
Phyllis will ask Nick what’s going on with Sharon. He’ll admit he’s concerned and ask what Phyllis has seen. She’ll bring up a weird incident at the coffee shop that, like everything else that’s remotely interesting on this show lately, occurred offscreen. She’ll say the coffee Sharon served her was horrible. “When I brought it up to her she lost her mind on me,” Phyllis will add.
Finally, Nick will invite Sharon to join them as she waits for her takeout. “It’s interesting to see how much time you two have been spending together lately,” Sharon will say, as she sits down. “What exactly is that all about?” But Phyllis and Nick will say nothing is going on between them.
However, Phyllis will mention she saw Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) in the park the other day and she opened up about what happened with Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) and she gave her some advice. Phyllis will add that they also talked a bit about things that had happened in the past.
“You had no right to do that!” Sharon will exclaim. “You shouldn’t be having deep conversations with my daughter! With my daughter, Phyllis!” A stunned Phyllis will say she meant no harm. But Sharon will tell her that moving forward, she better not be giving Faith any more advice.
